Credit balances and transactions, payments, service usage, processing costs, analysis statuses, and transaction histories necessary for recordkeeping and reconciliation.
e. Technical and security information
Session information, error records, authentication activity, and technical data necessary to maintain security, diagnose problems, and operate the service.

Users who submit documents containing information belonging to other individuals or organizations are responsible for ensuring that the upload and processing have a lawful basis.
4. Use of OCR and Artificial Intelligence
Uploaded documents may be processed using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) services and third-party artificial intelligence providers.
Processing may involve:
- Transmitting documents to OCR providers to read or extract their contents.
- Using extracted text as input to AI services.
- Converting processed information into structured analysis results.
- Storing results so users can access them through their accounts.
Depending on service configuration, supported technologies may include LlamaParse, Azure Document Intelligence, DeepSeek, or other AI model API providers supported by Miraify.

Miraify applies different retention policies depending on the category of information.
Original uploaded documents: Automatic time-based deletion is currently disabled. Documents may remain stored until deletion is carried out under applicable operational policies or a lawful request that can be fulfilled.
OCR data: Eligible OCR content is subject to a 90-day retention period measured against completion of the analysis process.
Raw AI provider responses: Eligible raw LLM responses are subject to a 30-day retention period measured against completion of the analysis process.
Final analysis results and summaries: Automatic time-based cleanup is currently disabled. Analysis results may remain available in user history unless removed under a subsequently activated retention policy or another lawful process.
Document identity information and operational history: Certain metadata, including filenames, may be stored separately from document contents to support history, security, and operational requirements.
Payment, credit, security, and audit records: These may be retained as necessary for accounting, dispute resolution, misuse prevention, or legal obligations.
Backups and system logs: Copies of information may remain in backups or technical records for periods that differ from active data retention.
Deleting one category of information does not necessarily delete all related information simultaneously.
